Depth to rock changes as you cross the region

This service area spans real geological variation, and it shows up in every estimate. Eagleville and parts of Lebanon sit where limestone runs close to the surface — often excellent bearing, with piers reaching refusal quickly. Murfreesboro, Smyrna, and Rockvale carry the county's growth belt, where graded fill over native clay adds a second settling clock. La Vergne concentrates the cut-and-fill condition, with cracking that frequently tracks the boundary between them. Woodbury climbs toward the Highland Rim, where slope water leads the diagnosis. Shelbyville and Franklin sit in neighboring counties with deeper, more variable profiles — and legitimately deeper pier specifications.

That variation is why we never quote a standard pier depth across the region. Each page above reads its own ground — and the evaluation reads your specific lot.

Two housing eras, everywhere we go

Across all ten communities the same split repeats: older crawl-space and pier construction, and the subdivision belt's slab-on-grade. The ground treats them identically; the repairs differ completely. Crawl-space houses get pier, sill, and girder work with preservation-grade care on historic stock. Slab houses get perimeter piering, interior support, or leveling depending on where the floor survey finds the low points. The evaluation identifies which house you own before anyone prices anything.
